Founded in 1994, Moab Taiko Dan is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that brings joy to the Moab community. Our group consists of amateur drummers from all walks of life who enjoy performing traditional Japanese taiko songs along with original compositions and multi-cultural rhythms. The group is under the instruction of Sensei Tiffany Tamaribuchi of Sacramento Taiko Dan.

Moab Taiko Dan provides local entertainment and taiko drumming instruction throughout the year. We also sponsor Japanese cultural exchanges and performances, bringing to Moab groups such as WARIKI, SHIDARA, HANAUI (KODO), and TAIKOPROJECT, as well as individual artists like Akira and Raya Katogi.

- Promote individual growth, development, and expression through the art of taiko drumming;
- Develop and maintain supportive links with local community groups, events, and activities;
- Foster cultural awareness and diversity; and
- Offer performances in a wide variety of local venues.
